Snow Storm damages Dining Hall, December 28, 2004

A devastating ice storm did massive damage to the Dining Hall on December 28, 2004.  That date, ironically, is Cyrus Eaton's birthday.

Snows coated the inside of the Dining Hall as well as the landscape.

As you can see, the Pugwash River/Harbour is frozen, the wharf end of the Dining Hall is missing and the hall is totally exposed to the elements.

The Sibley chairs and tables were blown across the dining hall and broken. Ice coats the windows, and the piano is silenced.

Through the limbs weighed down by ice you can glimpse the Dining Hall. This storm occurred in 2009.
