Address of Cyrus Eaton (American Industrialist) at Luncheon Honoring Nikita S. Khrushchev (Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the USSR) Attended by Prepresentative Americans and Canadians
New York City, September 26, 1960 -Cyrus Eaton suggests that "when two or more rival enterprises prosper simultaneiously, it is to the highest benefit..to the entire national economy. Similiarly in an expanding world economy, any nation with natural resources and energetic people can and hsould prosper without hindrance to other nations, but with benefit to all nations and to all mankind." He then urges both the US and Russian to terminate the arms race.

Nov 5, 1958 -- Eaton recounts how impressed he was on his trip to Russia, meeting Nikita Khruschev, and visiting to farms, factories, schools, businesses. He affirms that Khruschev has followed Pugwash conferences closely and that he is in sympathy with their finding. He explains how Khrushchev is an advocate for peace as he works toward improving education, business, and agriculture.
