​Tomorrow (May 15, 2026) all museums in Warsaw are free and it is expected that thousands of people will see the Nobel Peace prize.

​Tomasz worked with the city of Warsaw to establish the Joseph Rotblat square.  This land is directly adjacent to the site of Joseph’s house before the war.

A man on a bicycle stopped to complain that the grounds were too small to honour someone who won a Nobel Peace prize.  But I think Joseph would have liked this space. Explained Teresa Kewachuk, Pugwash Park Commissioner

​We found THE REAL Tola!!!  I asked why she didn’t use her name Hadasa.  Apparently it was normal for people, who were not orthodox in their beliefs, to choose a Polish name.

​For too many years we thought the woman nearest Joseph in this photo was Tola.  But NO.  Tola is the playful person on the other end on the fence post.
