Coffee House at the Lobster Factory in 1974
Harry Moore from Pugwash, Susan Arenburg from Amherst, and Catherine Brown from Moncton, NB received permission to use the Dining Hall for coffee houses featuring local and regional talent. Harry and Susan were musicians (guitar, piano, and singing). This would have been around 1974 or 1975. They also had them at the School House on Pugwash River Road, white building in the middle of a meadow off the road. They charged admission and served snacks like granola or sesame seeds or peanuts. They played folk music. They played in coffee houses around Nova Scotia. If you attended one of these musical evenings, please share your memories.
